Everyday
it’s as though there’s
something new. Last week’s
policy, gone! Staff turn over,
new management, poor management,
corporate takeovers, downsizing,
centralizing, decentralizing,
meetings, new computer operating
systems, sick leave, somebody
quit, somebody you’ve
got to fire! Somebody you would
like to fire! The changes never
stop. They are constant.
Leading through
change is a tough challenge for
leaders today. Keeping your spirits
up during change whether you are
in a leadership role or not is
also a challenge for many. The
problem for the most part is that
nobody has taught you how to deal
with the changes or surprises
that that you don’t like.
I mean some people say, “I
don’t like surprises”
Yet I’ll bet you ten to
one that if you “surprised
“ them with $1000.00 cash
– they’d love the
surprise (and you too!).

What
Will You Learn?
The secret
to effectively dealing with
change is within the ability
of an individual to create the
necessary perspective that will
allow them to accept the changes.
Although this ability is innate
in human beings, for most it
has been “conditioned”
out of them. It can be “relearned”.
In this session
learners will gain insights and
perspectives to the following
questions and requirements of
handling change effectively.
- How to embrace change
- Is change good?
- Why Change?

change?
- How to change when we don’t
want to?
- Leading through change
- Learn the 3 step transition
process of change
- Identify where you or your
team members are “stuck”
within the change process.
- Learn how to move yourself
or staff through being “stuck”
- Big Picture verses Small Picture
- What is personal vision -
How it fits into the workplace
- What is department vision
-How it fits into the workplace
- What is corporate vision –
How you fit into it…or
do you fit?
- Learn to create vision
- Vision and Change –
how they work hand in hand
- Turn around low morale
- Responsibility and Accountability
– two essential factors
